Alright mfers Here’s your update from the Apes on Ape art team: “Hi everyone! We have a plan to start getting you high res versions of your PFPs, soon. Erika and I (gorkulus) are prioritizing eliminating all errors and critical changes that are necessary before sharing the images further. This might take a few days (alongside other commitments) At that point, we can start taking requests for high res versions of PFPs (one per person, so that it's manageable and doesn't slow the rest of the work down too much). These won't be final art - and there will be a small "BETA" mark on the image (or something similar), to indicate that it's not final. There will be some traits that aren't ready yet - if the ape you request contains one, we'll ask if you'd like to request a different one. We've created a channel in the Discord for these requests, which Smoke will be managing. We are now building in public. We're continuing to work to make the art as strong as we know it can be, and take our vision to completion, while listening to ideas from the community. Given that we have never collected mint funds or raised any money for this project, please respect that no one is Erika's client, she is doing this out of love for art, and for the Apes on Ape and greater community. Having high res copies of the art in its current form will help us all represent, and should also help clarify that the art is high effort and high quality (if not totally final). We can also demonstrate what it means to be a grassroots community-driven effort. Erika is working hard to move everything forward. Just a reminder that this isn't the only commitment she has - she has two dependents to take care of as well as existing work commitments. And we all need sleep.
