When I buy like 5-7 eth worth of $panes and accumulate a couple percent of the token, I’m essentially backing Derek’s new product pre launch, where he might have otherwise raised a small round from family and friends.

Ngl it was so obvious yesterday that the correction was coming on Base and here we are. Tho thought that it would be bigger, lets see.
Anyway still like some stuff: $GIZA the most, $LAY and $NATIVE too (pumped first = attention/mindshare), $AXR seems the leader for virtuals eco given ACP hype. Would bid it if it gives a more or less good entry.
+ looking for good new launches on Base that will increase the ceiling
On Sol I would focus on established ICM meta projects like #FITCOIN $YAPPER $SUBY $KLED $KODISC
$AVAX eco got some runners too, but can't be everywhere

Base is hot right now, but to be honest, I think many will lose money participating in these wild rotations. The best strategy is (in my humble opinion) ⬇️
1. Identify first runners (these have the highest demand, top mindshare, and attention, hence are more likely to outperform and hold up better during dips), something like $LAY $NATIVE. Moreover, they usually have an active and doxxed team that did not stop building. You want to bid on these.
2. Wait for a dip to ape. No need to FOMO and give exit liquidity to bagholders (just check the $LAY chart and you'll get what I mean). Even though Base is not Sol, there will be entries on old tokens as people sell old bags/take profits.
3. Do not believe in fairy tales and take profits accordingly. Some of these might do 3-5x, which is very good; however, I'm very unsure about all-time highs.
Still, I do not like to see when dead stuff starts pumping on Base. I think that we might experience a flush there soon. This will be a good opportunity to bid on the best tokens.
One more thing - we need new good launches on Base to keep the momentum. Pumping old tokens is good, but without new runners, there will be more PvE, and the momentum will be more short-lived as these old tokens have a lower ceiling (bagholders, new stuff > old stuff due to our psychology, etc).
