【 Opinion) Reasons Why Anoma Might Fail 】 I am currently participating directly in the Anoma testnet through the Anoma Secret Syndicate. However, I have to say what needs to be said. If things continue like this, "I think Anoma might fail." @anoma has been a team that has been building for a long time since receiving investment in 2021, and they have received $57M in investment from top-tier VCs like Polychain, Coinbase, and Spartan. Then, in July 2025, after four years, they opened the testnet, and it was only available for a select few, the code holders, to participate first. So what are the issues? 1. The quality of the testnet is seriously low. Currently, the testnet operates like this: Spam the spacebar to mine Fitcoin -> Gacha for point draws or bet on Bitcoin long/short. 🤷🏻 Surprisingly, that's it. Mining coins to gacha or bet is all there is to it... I don't know how this relates to being intent-centric, and I don't know if there's any actual blockchain functionality. 2. Testnet operation. To gacha or bet, you basically need to mine Fitcoin. The problem is that this coin can be issued infinitely, and the way to do it is just to turn on the auto mouse. Of course, later @MJk9656 provided feedback, and a limit was set, but you can see that the basic operating policy has not been established. And that's not all. I can bet my points on BTC long/short with leverage up to 10x. However, since there is no limit on points, 100,000 points (x10) -> 1,000,000 points (x10) -> 10,000,000 points (x10) -> 1 billion points. The point inflation is extremely serious. I gathered 100,000 points, but someone else has 1 billion points;; Due to this issue, a point reset occurred during the testnet. Moreover, that's not all... To draw from the gacha, you need to convert points into tickets. However, while the points were reset, the gacha tickets were not reset, allowing some users to acquire points faster than others. So, they had to reset both tickets and points again 🤦🏻 3. Frequent bugs. Errors when loading data, Errors when spinning the gacha, Bets should yield results after 15 seconds, but there are errors that end in just 3 seconds. Errors occurred so frequently that proper testing could not be conducted. No matter how much of a testnet it is... It felt like it was released without basic QA. You can't see the quality of a team that received $50 million in investment at all. 4. Summary. To summarize the issues with the Anoma testnet: 1. Low-quality dApp. 2. Unclear purpose of the testnet. 3. Issues with testnet operation. 4. Frequent bugs. There are many problems, but I have no idea where I can experience intent-centricity in this testnet at all... If anything is wrong, please let me know. @adrianbrink @thespacecatjr, respond!!
🍼Anoma really makes it easy to understand 1. What is Anoma? @anoma is a system that expresses what people want and automatically matches them This is how the current blockchain works "I'm going to send 10 coins to someone. Make it into a transaction and execute it yourself." But this guy works like this "I'm willing to give 10 coins to someone, but only if it meets the conditions I want. I don't know who will receive it yet." In other words, only the user's "intent" is said first, Who will receive it, what conditions are met, When will the transaction take place The system finds and solves it on its own 2. Give me other examples! Previously, I want to sell NFT for 1 ETH→ I have to register an order myself, and wait for someone to buy it What if I want to cancel my order? You have to pay a fee again and create a cancellation transaction This guy's method is I only record my intention as "I am willing to sell my NFT to anyone for more than 1 ETH" If someone else expresses the intention of "I want to buy any NFT with 1 ETH", Anoma will automatically match you and close the deal! Transactions only happen when all conditions are met. Or it doesn't work at all Very easy!! The basic form of anoma is yosadami dang @UXLINKofficial
