People - any "company" or "person" saying they "want" to accept crypto is ignorant. They HAVE to accept crypto now that the Genius Act is passed.
Also, if anyone thinks you can accept only 1 type of crypto, they are ignorant. All crypto is interchangeable; you can swap any crypto for any other crypto, so accepting one type of crypto shows insane ignorance.
Time to get smarter and start educating. We are early adopters; it's what we do. Teach.
Basics of adoption:
- There are already hundreds of startups with Stable Coin, Bitcoin, and Solana debit cards which have already been adopted for over a year to pay for anything anywhere with crypto. You just fund the wallet provided with any crypto and spend as a normal debit card.
- Companies and merchants will begin accepting "native" Stable Coin as soon as next week. The law is passed; it is legal tender. All you need to pay is a native wallet and their native wallet address (QR code or address text).
IMO: 99% of businesses will accept "native" Stable Coin by the end of the year, and Visa and Mastercard will begin to lose market share by the end of 2026, losing up to 50% of retail payment market share to crypto "native" payments.
It's 2025; get smarter.
