Quick update on the @FlareNetworks validator/FTSO situation Node up ✅ Node converted to validator ✅ I f*cked up ✅ 😂😂 Hit discord, got help within 5min F*ckup unf*cked 😆😂✅ Triple checked the unf*ck✅ Setup FDC (data connector)✅ Xrp Doge BTC ETH nodes currently syncing ⏰ That's where we're at! 💪🏽 ----- A note on 2 things The fuck up was because I missed adding an "optional" line during setup. It's not really optional. If you don't put it, and don't backup the correct files BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, you lose vital info. It gets overwritten. I thought I could do it later, but nope. Lol. I think it should be more substantiated in the dev docs, and note the consequences (NodeID is regenerated after every compose down/up unless you add the staker.key line, I don't remember what it is off top). It's kinda mentioned in the docs but I think it's more impt than the way it was presented. It should probably be in the docker-compose example given so ppl don't miss it. If you don't back up the files you 100% lose your node during next compose up. (I could be wrong but I don't think so) THIS CODE IS AWESOME!! When I got to setting up the FDC it's like a dream to work with. Who ever was in charge of writing this is top notch. I see why it took so long to deploy everything. This is top notch people! And having the 4 FDC nodes so easily deployable blew my mind after trying to setup the 14 other nodes for Axelar lol.
