A few defi moves I made in the last 24 hours with the dust settled from the Jackson Hole symposium:
What I did:
- Staked more on @0xPolygon
- Reopened my $SOL - $USDC LP on @MeteoraAG
- Opened up a $HYPE - $UETH LP on @prjx_hl
-Put more $WETH into a @katana vault.
Why I did it:
- Stake $POL because I enjoyed the town hall with @0xMarcB. More leaders should do that.
- Opened LPs to earn fees on the volume, and with more clarity from Powell and the Fed, I don't have uncertainty around which way those pools slide.
- Put money on Katana to earn yield on my $ETH as it continues to run.
- I went vaults and LPs over perps because instead of risking being liquidated, I earn yield/fees regardless of the direction of the market.
Where I'm looking:
- I still need to get some money on @hydration_net.
- Considering some USDT0 positions on one side of LPs on PJX to DCA in both directions.
- Might slide a little more into @MORE_DeFi since my vaults there have performed well and work toward the @flow_blockchain rewards program.
As always, I'm new to this (just a few weeks in DeFi), so this is not financial advice. I'm just learning and sharing the journey.

Many are attempting to predict the crypto market peak this cycle and will likely misjudge, just as many were disappointed by the crypto “bull market” this cycle.
Reality is volatility is compressing for the asset class and while pullbacks will occur, the asset class likely won’t decline as sharply or for as long as people expect anymore.
However, extraordinary returns will still be achievable over longer periods of time for those who have patience.
I believe that large, liquid tokens with promising upcoming DATs are best-positioned to outperform in the near to medium term:
BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, and AVAX are the most likely candidates.
Crypto is just beginning to attract substantial Tradfi inflows, creating a strong foundation for sustained growth.
Exciting times ahead.
