as many know, we developed an intent-solver based solution for the main katana onboarding experience. for most use cases, this is the best solution. it allows users to onboard to katana very quickly and hides all complexity with generally low fees.
however, for another set of use cases and users, fees end up being quite high for various reasons when trying to use the intent-solver based solution. this native bridge, solves the problem. although it is much slower, allowing onboarding in 15 to 20 minutes, it does it without paying fees other than Ethereum fees for bridging. this makes it extremely inexpensive for anyone willing to wait a little longer.
