Zama has raised $130M
Backed by Pantera Capital and Multicoin
But what's under the hood?
Explaining in simple words + some tips đ§”đ

What is it ?
@zama_fhe is building privacy mode for all blockchains
Like Incognito Tab, but for smart contracts
Instead of launching their own chain, they created a layer that brings encrypted smart contracts to any existing chain
Think of it like adding a privacy filter on top of Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche
You use it like usual, but no one sees whatâs going on under the hood

How?
They use FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption)
Crazy name, but here's a simple example:
Imagine you're baking a cake inside a locked box
You can't open the box, but somehow you can still measure, mix, and bake through special gloves attached to the box
Thatâs FHE
The cake bakes while staying private the whole time

Why it matters?
Today, every time you use a blockchain - your wallet, actions, and balances are visible to everyone
Imagine doing your online banking, but on a public livestream
Zama says: nope, not anymore
With Zama, you can still trade, stake, vote, whatever
But no one knows what youâre doing unless you give permission

How it works technically?
They built FHEVM
Itâs like MetaMask but for encrypted logic, smart contracts that handle private info without exposing it
Like a voting app where no one sees your vote, but everyone trusts the count is correct
And they added support tools like Coprocessors and Gateway
So encrypted actions donât feel like using Windows 98

Key Features
âą Quantum-Resistant
Imagine hackers in the future with supercomputers, FHE is built to resist even those threats
âą Composable
Think of LEGO blocks, Zamaâs privacy layer snaps into any blockchain stack
âą Performance-Optimized Runtime
Zamaâs runtime is designed to handle complex encrypted operations at speed, thanks to aggressive optimizations in TFHE-rs.
âą Verifiable
Like turning in homework where the teacher confirms you did it right
But never sees the answers
These 4 things make Zama strong and working machine for privacy

So, what to do with that info ?
They dropped a testnet, and a lot of smart folks are already writing about it
You can check out my previous posts and learn how to jump in:
My friend @DeRonin_ shared a theory that such a project is very likely to appear on Kaito
Which means you can create content about the project now to end up in the TOP of Kaito leaderboard later
New early-stage project Zama ($130M)
@zama_fhe is a cryptographic company creating open tools for developers
Raised: $130M from Pantera Capital, Multicoin Capital, Blockchain Ventures etc.

- Waiting for new activities to appear
†Conclusion:
The public testnet launch is coming soon, and the project has strong backing
It's in its early phases, but with significant investment, it's worth paying attention to
Keep an eye on updates!
