How???
Curious how folks are thinking about playing Plasma $XPL on TGE (hearing it will go live sometime next month).
Hadn't given it a ton of thought since participating in the presale was nearly impossible...
But I definitely see a scenario where this trades well above its current premarket price.
They have:
- Peter Thiel narrative (backed by Founders Fund)
- "Pseudo Tether equity" (backed by Bitfinex/Paolo) → expecting more Tether-related good news + the obvious stablecoin narrative, very reflexive and $XPL is the only ticker to bid/express bullishness through
- Aave/Binance partnerships
- Should launch with relatively low float (~10% circulating)
On the other hand:
- $PUMP's ICO showed how willing presale buyers are to flip profits
- $XPL presale buyers are in from $500M FDV, so up ~17x at current ~$8.5B FDV (where $XPL is trading at on HL's pre-market perps)
- Paolo has also backed another "Tether chain," participating in @stable's $20M seed round
