Ethcc actually exceeded expectations:
- More people than I expected, all ranging from different parts of the industry
- app-straction is real (be it web2 app/robinhood etc), but with a caveat that devs don’t enough want to rewrite their entire app to achieve it. Access to all users with familiar tooling is paramount
- Big tech, and tradfi are finally adopting crypto in ways this industry needs
- Depending on who you were with, some were pessimistic, others optimistic. I’d lean that more were pessimistic short term
- Nearly everyone I talked to about orchestration resonated with it really quickly especially developers. Lots of exciting conversations with soon to be integrators!!
- Scripts instead of contracts to enable one click ethereum is going to be here quicker than we thought
- No one talked about gaming. Was all defi, tokenised assets, interop
- Huge hyperliquid builder contingent that rocked up, I can tell these builders are cut from from a different cloth compared to other ecosystems
