I've been so patient.
But patience is wearing thin.
Prediction market this. Prediction market that. Multi billion dollar raises here. Multi billion dollar raises there.
@MyriadMarkets claiming to be the 3rd runner in a bid against Polymarket and Kalshi.
Then go to their actual site and see they've got less than 100 markets in total.
Thats less than the number of markets on one top tier football game in any random sportsbook.
What I find hilarious about their approach is that they're clearly focusing on Crypto markets.
Which is about as dumb as you can get if you want rapid expansion, adoption and competition.
There's no virality to markets like these. There's no celebrity getting quoted on a market. There's zero outside attention.
Crypto people like crypto markets, but if they wanted to bet on this shit most would simply open up trades. And if they do want to bet on this shit, its the same people as usual.
Where are you expanding the pie?
